Our Story

How it all started...

Crossroads Community Church has a rich history dating back nearly 160 years, starting in 1866 when 13 people formed the First Free Methodist Church of Union Hill. In 1959, West Webster and Union Hill merged and began planning a new building, which was completed in 1962. Over the years, the church has grown, adding new features and expanding its outreach to the community through youth programs, missions, and creative events. Prayer and fellowship have always been central to church life. Crossroads has been dedicated to supporting missionaries and has sent members on short-term missions to Peru and Haiti. Today, the church continues its mission of worship, service, and spreading the gospel message.

A Heart for the Community

At Crossroads, we believe in living out the love of Christ beyond the walls of our building. Through our Serve Sunday initiative, we partner with organizations like Heart and Soul Church to bring tangible help to those in need. Each Serve Sunday, we simply show up to offer support and encouragement. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus—reaching out to others with compassion and making a positive impact in our community.
